October 7-28, 2016For this exhibition two of my small sculptures were placed in a glass case intended for displaying artifacts rather than sculpture. They looked unexpectedly cool...like objects that had recently been discovered and now were being put on display.
While Birds Sleep...
While Birds Sleep...
A solo exhibition held on July 10, 2016 at Project 1612 in Peoria, IL.In a tiny garage at the end of a residential driveway in 90-degree weather I installed my exhibition While Birds Sleep. The exhibition space located in central Illinois and named PROJECT 1612 was the brainchild of two graduate students who believed in the need for an alternative independent artist-run project space. They provided that space and then some.

2016 Collage Art Association’s ARTexchange
As a graduate student I had the opportunity to present my work at the 2016 Collage Art Association’s ARTexchange. Instead of transporting my sculpture in luggage I decided to created a short movie of me, and my work. With the assistance of the photography instructor and very little time I create a short slide show of my work in iMovie. The video presentation includes a 360° view of myself in a posture mimicking some of my sculptures and wearing sunglasses that belonged to my mother.
